Consciousness is so hot right now - at least in my Substack sphere.

A few months ago

Packy McCormick

wrote an article called The Return of Magic that put me on to the Telepathy Tapes - the most 🤯 podcast I’ve ever listened to.

It gave a glimpse into a world where consciousness isn’t something that emerges, it’s something that’s just…everywhere, all at once??

It’s the same world I peeped when I was trying to make sense of the mystical near-death experiences in the Netflix series Surviving Death.

And to round out this flurry of fringe mystical content: my final rec is the audio documentary Lights On - which dives into the deepest of deep questions like Schrödinger's paradox and whether plants can talk.

If trees can send nutrients to others in need and sense which seedlings are their kids, is it crazy to say they got a lil consciousness??

I have more questions than answers here, and one of them is:

What are the unexplainable experiences or stories that have made you question the nature of the world?
